Ash Atwood

Kind Mind, Powerful Body

In this workshop Ash will uncover the adverse effects of the traditional approach to fitness and goal setting, and will introduce a new method that makes your steps towards your goals meaningful, positive, and sustainable. The problem is not your body, the problem is how you were taught to feel about your body. As a group, we will work to shift our mindset, heal our relationship to our body, and increase our awareness to what our body needs.

Meet Ash

Ash has been a wellness trainer for 12 years, first working with collegiate athletes and then transitioning to personal training. They began to uncover the toxic practices in the fitness world early in their career, which inspired them to develop an approach that truly matched the needs of clients. Ash’s approach stems from a desire to see powerful womxn fully express joy and celebrate their contributions to the world, free from the burden of society’s oppressive expectations of their body.

Abigail Julia

Awake + Empowered Womxn: Kundalini Yoga + Meditation, with gong bath relaxation

Kundalini yoga is an ancient technology that is effective and works quickly to heal and transform every aspect of our life. It includes breathwork, yoga postures and movements, mantra and meditation. There are thousands of meditations called “kriyas” to choose from to experience a fuller and brighter version of you.

In order for us to feel like empowered and energized womxn, we need clarity and balance. In Kundalini Yoga, we learn that we have 10 bodies, not just our physical, tangible body. For example, we also have a Radiant Body, an Auric Body, our Neutral Mind, and so on. We’ll be practicing a Kundalini kriya which will allow us to quickly experience what it feels like to have all 10 of our bodies aligned and activated. With our breath and some accessible movements, we will clear stagnant energy and reclaim balance in all parts of ourselves. When all bodies are activated, we feel alert, magnetic, radiant, calm, and vital.

My goal is to give you a powerful tool to feel better, and quickly, so you can live your life mission as YOU, which will change the world. Our time together will conclude with an extended sound bath with my sydnodic moon gong and a few other instruments. These healing frequencies will ease you even further into bliss.
